Depart by boat from the capital and sail about 30 minutes to get to Prison Island, literally the “prison island”, famous mainly for the presence of the giant tortoises of Seychelles! After the guided tour where you will be told the story of this thousand year old island, we will embark again to reach in about 30 minutes our second stop: the famous sand tongue, better known as Nakupenda (in Swahili “I love you”)where you can rest in the shade of gazebos set up on the moment and have lunch with a large grilled mixed fish and fresh tropical fruit! After recovering it is time to return to the mainland where, less than 40 minutes drive on the way back to the hotel, we will explore the hinterland of the island to discover the origin of all the spices that we commonly find on our tables. Local guides will show you their various uses, aesthetic, culinary, medical and much more!
